If you have seen the fabulous new book by Kelly Rae Roberts called "Taking Flight" (September 2008), and have fallen in love with it as much as I have, you might be interested in looking in on a small group I'm starting on Ning to share ideas and art as we work our way through the book.No need to respond (i.e. please don't comment to tell me you don't have time to do art, LOL) -- but if you happen to be interested, you can go to http://takingflight.ning.com/ to join. It will take a few weeks for everyone to get their books (I'm going to invite people from a couple of my online art groups to join) and there is no "schedule" for doing things -- so no stress, just fun, learning and sharing. Maybe I'll see some of you there! (And thanks to Eileen for the heads-up on this great book. I'm loving it.)

How funny is this? I was on my lunch hour surfing Amazon and I had this book in my shopping cart when I got inturrputed and never made the purchase.
