30 Days Creative - Sept. 16 - Retro Collage

I thought I had posted this digital collage with an earlier post and just realize it never made it into the post. Fortuitous. Now I have today's 30-day creative. :-)

I've been having lots of fun with Photoshop lately

Hi Teri,
Thanks for checking out my blog!
The canes are fun.. but if you are a "perfectionist" like me, it is hard to think of terms of 'cross sections'.. I did the canes last yr. Thought I would use up some of the clay I had stored for this swap!
I love your retro collage.. !
Also looks like you have been dabbling in 'family' photos.
My husband just bought me Adobe Photoshop elements 7.. It has been sitting here .. I don't even want to go there.. as I want to keep painting..!
Hugs,Darlene xo

this is really cool! wish I knew how to use photoshop. wish I had a better camera too... but probably won't happen for awhile. maybe I'll have to devise a plot to ruin my current camera... hmmmm...

Teri, how do you get pics of your work on the web? do you scan? take a pic? what? I wanted to post my scrapbook that I made back in August, but I took pics and they looked distorted.

any tips?

This one was done on my computer in an image-editing program, so I didn't have to scan because it was already in there digitally.

Otherwise yes, I do either scan it or take a digital photo. You have to do something to change it into digital for your computer to recognize. I'll email you to try to see if I can help with why yours distorted. Thanks for your comment. :-)
