GPP Street Team-Crusade 40 - Step on the Scale

I love Michelle Ward's art challenges. If you've never tried them, click on the link to the left side of my blog and have a ball.  This month the idea is to play with the scale of things -- you know, like Goldilocks and the three bears -- this chair is too big, this chair is too small, and this one is JUST RIGHT.

I decided to do it digital, (because I love to play with photoshop) and I used an image from the Graphics Fairy website that was just posted for Mother's Day.  I repeated things in various sizes and colors, images and brushes, and got a pretty fun collage together.  (I love the stamp that looks like a coffee stain. Do you see it?)

Teri - you crack me up with the Goldilocks reference! Love that you used the words and face in various sizes - a different spin on studies of scale. Thanks for sharing!

Isn't it funny...we were just talking about repeating images and scale.

Fascinating take on the challenge. And yes, I can see the 'coffee stain'. Clever idea!

I hadn't even considered "digital" for the crusade. Yours is lovely! I'm still searching for the coffee stain but trusting it's one of the many elements that made this so beautiful. Happy creations from tj in germany

I am not brave enough to work in photoshop, but I love what you did.

Love the faces, and that coffee stain is excellent - and no doubt better for the paper than real spilled coffee! Thanks for sharing your work with us.
