I found these tiny white buttons at an antique shop in Pt. Pleasant, NJ. Aren't they the sweetest?
And I'm not sure where I got this lovely locket, but I had to include it on Sox's pages so she can nestle a picture of her grandma inside.
And I painted a lovely lady in a hat. I based her face on a painting by -- I think? -- Degas
I found this darling, vintage sewing scissor at an antique store and tucked it in for safekeeping.
More views...
And I found the perfect home for this darling needle and thread lapel pin, nestled in layers of fabric and the image of a Chapellerie.
Makes me dream of a different life in a different time...if only for a day.

It is very special - everything came together so beautifully!
Beautiful pages and your painting is lovely!
Gorgeous - can't believe you painted the lady! Hidden talents or what?!
I love all those vintage finds you used, and your painting is just lovely. Hmmmm...maybe I will have to join the next lace book?????
Wow Sox is one lucky girl! What dreamy art you've created for her!
You just keep getting better and better at this!
You go girl - yes, a perfect Degas! xoxo
This is a wonderful tribute to Sox's ancestry. I love all the little things you used to make it personal. It is fabulous!
I really like this page! And not only because it has French words! The composition is lovely. A very special page. I love the way you tucked in the pair of scissors. What a great gift! I mean for the person receiving it, but also your talent!
Oh how pretty!!
I don't know Sox, but I'm so jealous of her right now! ;-) Beautiful.
