As some of you know, Wyatt's fluid in utero was leaking out, so the doctor's decided to induce labor when my daughter was at 34 weeks, instead of the 37-week point they had been hoping to get to. After several hours of labor, she delivered two 4.7 lb. beautiful baby boys - first Wyatt, and a few minutes later, Noah.
That was two weeks ago, and although there have been some predictable ups and downs (feeding and temperature regulation issues, mainly), they are both on target to come home sometime this week. Mama, daddy and big brother Liam are doing great and very excited - albeit tired from traveling to two different hospitals every day. Ally is pumping breast milk in between all of this, and Liam is cutting a tooth and almost walking. Ah the joys of new parenthood!
If you are interested in photos, here are a few from the past few days. As you can see, Noah and Wyatt are identical twins, and my big head is half the size of their bodies, haha.
Noah suntanning under the lights. Already a beach boy...
And here is grandpa Lou giving Liam his first twinkie!
