Five on Friday

This week there are only two...named Wyatt and Noah.

As some of you know, Wyatt's fluid in utero was leaking out, so the doctor's decided to induce labor when my daughter was at 34 weeks, instead of the 37-week point they had been hoping to get to. After several hours of labor, she delivered two 4.7 lb. beautiful baby boys - first Wyatt, and a few minutes later, Noah.

That was two weeks ago, and although there have been some predictable ups and downs (feeding and temperature regulation issues, mainly), they are both on target to come home sometime this week.  Mama, daddy and big brother Liam are doing great and very excited - albeit tired from traveling to two different hospitals every day.  Ally is pumping breast milk in between all of this, and Liam is cutting a tooth and almost walking.  Ah the joys of new parenthood!

If you are interested in photos, here are a few from the past few days.  As you can see, Noah and Wyatt are identical twins, and my big head is half the size of their bodies, haha.

Oh my! Wyatt is so cute and I love that picture of Noah with his head tilted up. Funny, Liam doesn't look like this is his first Twinkie.

I am SO FILLED with happiness for you all but especially for you, my dear - Congrats!!! Now, that photo of Lou and Liam is priceless! Lou's expression is kinda like, should I condemn this kid to a lifelong addiction to sugar or not? Hahahaha. And Liam's like, just give it to me already! xoxoxoxo

Oh Terri! What beautiful boys.... all three of them! Your daughter is amazing and will be proving that in the next few years of triple diapers. What a joy. I hope you'll continue to post pictures of this precious family. Sweet blessings you each of you!

Wonderful photos; keep 'em coming.
Like everyone else, I love that one of Lou and Liam. And the little guy looks just a little too comfortable for me to believe it was the first time grandpa snuck him a Twinkie. It was more like, "OK, no one's looking. Hand over that bad boy."

Congratulations grandma on the new baby twins. So precious and adorable. Haven't had a twinkie in years but this is the third time I've heard it mentioned this week. One was deep fried. Something in the universe? Liam certainly is eager for a taste. hahaha
